Margin Pool Rules

$25 per person to join.  You may have multiple entries.

 

Similiar to the survivor pool, except there is no elimination.  The object is to pick the one team a week that you think will win by the LARGEST margin.

 

No point spreads will be used.

 

Once you pick a team, you CANNOT pick that team again for the rest of the season!  EXAMPLE:  Week1, you pick the Giants as your team for the week.  They win 31-10.  You receive 21 points for the week.  Week 2, you pick Dallas.  They lose 24-14.  You will lose 10 points for the week.  Therefore, your net total for the year is 11.

 

Person with the most total points for the year wins the pot.  Pot determined by number of participants x $20 less my expenses. I may pay multiple places this year if I have enough entries.

 

If you forget to make a pick, you will lose as many points equal to the worst person for the week.   If you have already picked that team earlier in the season, you will lose as many points equal to the worst person for the week.
