Confidence Pool Rules
I WILL NOT be using the first Thursday night game that will be played on September 8th. The first week will start Sunday September 11th. Picks will be due before gametime on the 11th.
ALL FEES MUST BE TO ME BY THE START OF WEEK 3 OR YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT OF THE POOL. I HAD TOO MANY PROBLEMS GETTING MONEY LAST YEAR AND IF I DON'T HAVE IT YOU WILL BE OUT.
IMPORTANT: Please read these rules fully and carefully.
Internet Access is required to enter this pool.
Cost:
The cost this year will be $55.00 (this is just over $3 per week). Please email nfl@onthesideline.com to make payment arrangements. If you are a new member in the pool, please let me know how you heard about the pool in your email.
How to Play:
This
is a confidence pool, you rate the games you have the most confidence in with
the highest number. You will select
the team you think will win. Ties count as losses.
Pay-outs:
Pay-outs will be determined once all entries have been received, the pay-out breakdowns will be included with Week #3 results. I will try to give out 5 weekly prizes and 4 end of the year prizes. An administration fee will be taken out to cover my costs.
Turning
in Sheets:
Sheets are available on the Internet (they will be available the first week of September). Sheets need to be turned in prior to the start of the first game for the week. There will be Thursday games Weeks 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 (Week 1 Thursday game will be thrown out). The entry form will only be available up until gametime, after the games start the sheet will be unavailable. Visit http://onthesideline.com and follow the Football Pool link to enter your picks. If you have problems with the web form you can email them to nfl@onthesideline.com. The new software allows for a random assignment of picks, so if a participant does not turn in their picks the program will randomly assign them weekly picks. I will allow this 2 times per participant. After that the participant will receive a 0. If you are randomly assigned picks and win money for the week, your winnings will be forfeited back to the pool. I will distribute them as an extra prize for 1 week or multiple weeks depending on the amount forfeited.
Getting Results:
Results
will be available via the world wide web on the Internet at http://onthesideline.com you
will need to follow the football pool link from there.
